MAURICIO VAREA

Mauricio Varea was a Senior Software Engineer at ARM. He was awarded a Ph.D. in Electronics and Computer Science from the University of Southampton, UK, in 2003. After a few years doing post-doctoral research at Southampton, Mauricio started working in the Electronics Design Automation (EDA) industry and later moved to the Multimedia industry. He contributed with a mixed set of skills to both industries. Dr. Varea has co-authored a number of technical publications and has acted as a referee for top journals and conferences in the field.

FABIANA N. MARISCOTTI

Fabiana Mariscotti is an Economist aiming at specialising in Urban Economy. She obtained her degree in 2003, from the National University of Río Cuarto, Argentina, where she researched about health policies in the UK. Before that Fabiana obtained another degree, in Computer Science, and gained some experience in the field by working for the Local Authority and a number of small companies.
